About Princess Diana High School
Princess Diana High School Munyonyo PRIDHISCO was established in 2007 in commemoration of 10 years after the fateful death of Diana, Princess of Wales in a car accident in Paris, France.
It was commissioned by the Ministry of Education and Sports of the Government of Uganda and officially opened on 4th February 2007. Its opening coincided with the visit of Queen Elizabeth II to Uganda who was the mother-in-law of Princess Diana.
Princess Diana High School Munyonyo PRIDHISCO is strategically located on a hill in Buziga Zone 6km along Salaama Munyonyo Road from Kibuye Roundabout, 500m from Kiruddu National Referral Hospital.

What Defines Our School
Honesty
We are a community grounded in truth and integrity, preparing for a fast-changing world with openness and sincerity. We guide our learners to face the future with honest effort, genuine curiosity, and a clear sense of right and wrong. Our commitment to academic excellence is matched by our dedication to moral character — encouraging our learners to think truthfully, act justly, and lead with authenticity. In a world of constant change, we believe that honest hearts and minds will be the foundation of the respectful and responsible leadership our society so deeply needs.
Fair
We are a principled and inclusive community founded on equality, respect, and integrity. Fairness guides all that we do — we listen with open minds, treat others with dignity, and ensure that every learner has the opportunity to thrive. Our diversity is our strength; it broadens our perspectives and deepens our understanding of the world. Within this environment, staff and learners alike embrace their responsibility to act justly and contribute positively to society. We prepare our learners to become thoughtful, respectful, and responsible citizens — ready to shape a fairer, more compassionate world.
Kind
We believe that kindness creates the foundation for learning and growth — when learners feel valued and supported, they flourish. That is why we celebrate each individual's uniqueness, reject all forms of exclusion, and foster an environment where everyone feels seen, safe, and free to be themselves. Our commitment to kindness extends to nurturing the wellbeing of both learners and staff, ensuring that health, happiness, and humanity guide all that we do. Through empathy and genuine care, we help our learners grow into people who not only succeed in school, but also enrich the world with their kindness beyond it.
Unashamedly academic and ready for a fast-changing world
Princess Diana of Wales said: "Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you."
We stimulate curious minds who pursue learning for its own sake. Through robust and exceptional teaching, our learners discover what excites and inspires them so that they can thrive in university, work and throughout life. As part of an outward-looking community of academic excellence, our learners combine intellectual humility, critical thinking and practical wisdom to become the leaders of today, creating positive change in our fast-changing world.

Four Houses, One Family
Joining the Mighty Princess Diana High School Munyonyo / PRIDHISCO truly changed my life. It was the first big step that took me beyond what I ever imagined for myself — even boarding my very first plane to South Africa! At Princess Diana High School Munyonyo / PRIDHISCO, my mind opened up to so many new ideas, and I am constantly challenged to think deeper and dream bigger. I always feel supported — I ask questions, explore what I love, and just be myself. Because of that, I have grown in confidence and purpose. And when I was named Miss Integrity South Africa at the African Leadership Institute it was a dream come true — all because of that one informed choice I made to join this incredible school. I'm forever grateful.
I am deeply grateful to the Mighty Princess Diana High School / PRIDHISCO, for believing in me and nurturing my potential. Your unwavering support, guidance, and encouragement made this victory possible. This achievement is not mine alone — it is a reflection of my school's dedication to excellence and its commitment to empowering every learner's dreams.

Uganda's Ambassador for Women and Girls
Having read a lot of literature about Princess Diana of Wales, Essie took a bold step to change the world. From being named Uganda's Ambassador for Women and Girls at the age of 17 after donating her University tuition and starting a community health centre, Essie climbed through the echelons of global young leadership. She became a United States Department of State Young African Leader attached to Drexel University in Philadelphia USA, a European Commission Young Leader attached to Brussels Belgium, an African Union-European Union Young Leader in Addis Ababa Ethiopia and a Commonwealth Young Leader in London United Kingdom. She passed on in a fatal accident at the Arches National Park in Utah USA on June 13 2020. As a tribute, a central street that runs through school campus was named after her. She was only 25.
In loving memory - 1995-2020. Essie Road, named in her honour, runs through the heart of our campus.
